Organization.(1') - Call the roll. 2.Warm up/ Review: (3’) * Slap the board: - T puts some school things on the table:pen, ruler, eraser, book……. - T devices class in to 2 groups. - T says:” cái thước”. - SS take “ a ruler” who first is winner. 3. New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. PRESENTATION: (12’) 1.Pre- teach –vocabulary: + Yes: vâng, đúng rồi. * Checking: Rub out and remember. 2. set the scene: - Nam comes to Hoa/s birthday and he gives a present to she. But she doesn/t know what thing and she asks Nam: Hoa : Is this a desk ? Nam: Yes , it is. T reads first. T gets Ss to read in pairs. T underlines “ a book” and replaces another word: a pen, a pencil….. T gets ss to read. 3.Model sentences: * Form: - Is this a desk? -> No, it isn’t. It’s a chair. * Meaning: Translate in toVietnamese. B. PRACTICE: (10’) * Picture: ( 4 pictures). - T runs through all pictuces - T models. - T / SS and SS / T. - T gets Ss to practice inpairs: open/ closed pairs. - T corrects. * Realia: ( 5 school things) C. PRODUCTION: (8’) * Find the real things: T device class in to 3 groups. Gets 2 ss com to the board: + S1: Is this a/an ……? + S2: (Take the thing and answer): Yes, it is. - Choral repetition - Individual repetition. - Copy into notebooks. - SS check vocabulary. - SS listen and repeat. - SS practice in pairs. - SS read. - SS copy the form into notebook. - SS try to remember the form, meaning and use. - SS repeat. - SS practice in pairs. - SS listen . - SS work in groups. - SS go to the board to asks and answer. 4. Homework.(1’) * SS listen and take note. - Learn by heart vocabulary and structure. - Prepare: Let’s Learn Some More ( 2)
