By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to know about the topics they will learn in this academic year and understand what they will learn in the book “Let’s go 1A”. II. Teaching method: - Communicative method. - Techniques: Ask and answer, discuss. III. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, realias. IV. Procedures. 1. Organization.(1’) - Call the roll. 2.Warm up/ Review: (3’) - T greets ss. - Calls the roll for attendance. - T asks about the weather, health. - Leads the students to the new lesson by some guiding questions in Vietnamese? 3. New leson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. Introduce the syllabus: (10’) - T introduces the whole syllabus in Vietnamese. - T introduces the quantity of the unit? (There are four, From Unit 1- unit 4) B. Open your book: (10’) - T introduces the topics that Ss will learn in each unit of the book “Let’s go 1A. Unit 1: Names, classroom objects. Unit 2: Colors, classroom objects. Unit 3:Numbers 1 – 10, classroom objects. Unit 4: Family. C. Introducing the Workbook:(5’) ( published by Vietnamese Education Press). D. Extension. ( 5’) - T asks Ss to stand into a circle and play the game. - T helps Ss to correct their mistake orally. - SS look and listen. -SS open the textbook, listen. - SS open the workbook and listen. -Do what T requires. 4. Homework.(1’) * SS listen and take note. - Remember the topics that you are going to learn in this academic year. - Prepare unit 1: Let/ s Talk ( 1).
