IV.Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, flipcharts, tape. V. Procedures. 1. Organization.(1') - Call the roll. 2.Warm up/ Review: (3’) - Some Ss are asked to sing the song “ Hi, How are you?” 3. New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. PRESENTATION: (12p) 1. Pre- teach vocabulary: - color: màu sắc - red:màu đỏ * Check vocabulary:rub out and remember 2. Set the scene: - T introduces then reads the model. What color is this? -> It is red. 3. Model sentences: + Form :- What color is this? -> It is red. + Note: - What is = What’s. - It is = It’s + Use: to ask and answer about things. + Meaning: Translate into Vietnamese. B. PRACTICE: (10p) - Ss practice in groups of four, asking and answering about the things. - What color is this? -> It is red. - T calls some groups to ask and answer in front of class. C. PRODUCTION: (8p) - Ss play “slap the board” game, each group selects one student joining in the game. - Choral repetition - Individual repetition. - Copy into notebooks. - Ss check vocabulary. - Ss listen and repeat. - SS copy the form into notebook. -SS try to remember the form, meaning and use. - SS parctice in group. - Do what T requires. - SS work in group to play game. 4.
