I. Objectives: By the end of the lession ,the ss will be able to drill the letter C and words:Carol, car, cat, candy.

- Listening and speaking.

 *. Vocabulary: Carol, car, cat, candy.

III. Teaching method: Communicative method.

- Techniques: Ask and answer, Work in groups, pairs, individually.

IV. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, flipcharts.

V. Procedures:

1. Organization.(1')

- Call the roll.

2. Warmer - up: ( 3’)

- * Slap the board: one, two,three, four, five.

3. New lesson: (30’)

New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities * Activity 1:Introduce the letter C ( 5’) - Pont to the teacher card and say: + T: This letter’s name is C C, C, C. - Say and draw the letter C by hand in the air. - Correct the mistakes. * Activity 2: Introduce the sound /c/ ( 5’) - Pont to the teacher card and say: + T: Sound of the C is /c/: c, c, c. - Say and draw the letter C by hand in the air. - Correct the mistakes. * Activity 3: Introduce the new words ( 15’) - Point to the picture drawing Carol, and introduce: This is Carol, Carol. - Introduce 3 new words: + Take the picture and say: car, cat, candy + T: Yes, car, cat, candy. says and writes on the board. + Correct the mistakes. - Do the same with the other words. - Play the tape. * Activity 4: Introduce the C chant ( 5’) - Play the tape. - Look and say after the T Ss: C, C, C. - Say and do after T - Look at the board and read individual. ( other Ss remark) - Look and say after the Tss: c, c, c. - Say and do after T. - Look at the board and read individual. ( other Ss remark) - Look at the picture and read after T : Carol, Carol. + Repeat: car, cat, candy + Guess the meaning. + Look at the board and read in chorus. + Read individual. ( other ss remark) - Look at the board and read all the new words. - Read in chorus and individual. - Listen and repeat. - Slap and read. 4. Homework.(1’) - SS listen and take note. - Learn by heart vocabulary. - Prepare: Lesson : C – c ( 2)
