Week :08 Period :16 Lesson 14 : D – d ( 2) I. Objectives: By the end of the lession ,the ss will be able to drill the letter D and count the numbers. - Listening and speaking. II. Language contents: a. Vocabulary: review b. Grammar : How many ? III. Teaching method: Communicative method. - Techniques: Ask and answer, work in groups, pairs, individually. IV. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, flipcharts. V. Procedures: 1. Organization.(1') - Call the roll. 2. Warmer - up: ( 3’) - T aks ss go to the board and write the number they have learnt in previous period. - T gives marks. 3. New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities * Activity 1: Introduce the new pattern ( 12’) - T displays the pattern T: seven, eight - Do again. - Do again and ask for Ss to repeat the words. (2, 3 times) T: Says and write on the board How many? - 7! - Explain: “How many ? ” * Activity 2: Practice ( 10’) - Ask: T: How many? - 7! - Divide Ss into 3 groups. Ask for Ss to ask and answer - Ask for Ss to practise in pairs. * Activity 3: Open the book ( 8’) + Number book: - Ask Ss mark the book of numbers. - Give each Ss 5 pieces of paper. - On each page Ss write 1 number 6 -10 then they illustrate that page with the appropriate number of any object of their choosing. - Correct the mistakes. - SS listen. -Listen and repeat. - Repeat the words Ss: seven, eight - Look at the board and read. - SS listen. - Answer: - 7! - Ask and answer in groups. G1 How many? G2: 7! (Ask G3) How many? G3: 8! .(Ask G1) - Practise in pairs. - SS mark the book numbers. - SS listen. 4. Homework.(1’) - SS listen and take note. - Learn by heart vocabulary. - Prepare: G – g ( 1)
