Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, flipcharts. V. Procedures: 1. Organization.(1') - Call the roll. 2. Warmer - up: ( 3’) - T aks ss go to the board and write the number they have learnt in previous period. - T gives marks. 3. New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities * Activity 1: Introduce the new pattern ( 12’) - T review the number: 1-> 10 - Do again. - Do again and ask for Ss to repeat the words. (2, 3 times) T: Says and write on the board How are you? – I’m 7. - Explain: “How are you? ” . Use to ask the age. * Activity 2: Practice ( 10’) - Ask: T: How are you? – I’m 7. - Divide Ss into pairs. Ask for Ss to ask and answer * Activity 3: Open the book ( 8’) + Ask about you: - T asks ss to practice in pairs and ask – answer about their age. - T call ss to practice in front of class. - Correct the mistakes. - SS listen. -Listen and repeat. - Repeat the words - Look at the board and read. - SS listen. - Answer: I’m 7. - Ask and answer in groups. SS1: How are you? SS2: I’m 7. - SS ask and anwer about their age. - Ss to practice in front of class. 4.
