I. Objectives.

V. Procedures.
1. Organization.(1')
- Call the roll.
2. Warm - up : (3’)
* Greetings: T greets Ss first and encourages Ss to respond and asks Ss to practice more with their classmates.
T: Hi! (Nga)./ Ss: Hello! (Mrs. Tam)
* Find the hidden letter.
Hide several A - a SC around the room. When Ss find the letter, they have
to say the letter and use gesture to show that it is big or small.
3. New lesson: (30’)

* Activity 1: Introduce the letter E ( 5’)
- Pont to the teacher card and say:
+ T: This letter’s name is E.
E, E, E
- Say and draw the letter E by hand in the air.
- Correct the mistakes.
* Activity 2: Introduce the sound /e/ ( 5’)
- Pont to the teacher card and say:
+ T: Sound of the E is /e/:
e, e, e
- Say and draw the letter E by hand in the air.
- Correct the mistakes.
* Activity 3: Introduce the new words
( 15’)
- Point to the picture drawing Eddie and introduce: This is Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.
- Introduce 3 new words:
+ Take the picture of elbow and say:
elbow, elbow, elbow
+ T: Yes, an elbow
say and write on the board
elbow
+ Correct the mistakes.
- Do the same with the other words.
- Play the tape.
* Activity 4: Introduce the E chant ( 5’)
- Play the tape.
- Look and say after the T.
Ss: E, E, E.
- Say and do after T.
- Look at the board and read individual.

- Look and say after the T

- Say and do after T.
- Look at the board and read individual.

- Look at the picture and read after T
