1. Organization.(1')
- Call the roll.
2. Warm - up: Stand up game: ( 3’)
Model “stand up/ sit down” first.
Assign each Ss one of the words for /a/ or /e/
T: Stand up if you are /a/.
All Ss whose words begin with /a/ stand up.
3. New lesson: (30’)

-Use the puppet to present the dialogue.

- Ask for Ss to play the puppet.

- Ask Ss: What are you doing?
- Say and write on the board: To ask and
answer about the name. Use the moder sentence:

I’m + tên
( What’s = What is)
( I’m = I am)
- Read.
* Activity 2: Practice ( 10’)
- Divide Ss into 2 groups. Ask for Ss to practise. G1: Sam
G2: Ginger
- Ask for Ss to practise in pair.
- Correct the mistakes.
* Activity 3: Open the book ( 8’)
- Ask for Ss to open the book. Look and remark the picture.
- Introduce the characters: Sam, Ginger.
- Play the tape.
- Correct the mistakes.
- Ss listen.
- Repeat
- Ss ask:

- Ss answer: I’m……….
- Ss answer.
- SS listen and try to remember the form, using, meaning.
- Read after T.
- Practise in group.
