I. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to name the school things
II. Language:
• Vocabulary : ruler, rubber, pencil, book, schoolbag
• Patterns: What’s this/ that ?

III. Skills: Reading, Listening and Speaking .
IV. Methods: PPP (Listen and repeat, ordering word, picture drill)
V. Teaching aids: Pictures, powerpoint slides, picture cards, real objects
VI. Time: 35 minutes

I. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to name the school things
II. Language:

- T introduces the rule of the game:
- Divide class into two groups
-Model: turn on the screen (slide 2, 3) and choose any number, each number has one pet and one or many stars, number stars will be your mark
- Ask Ss to practise: choose number
- Write number stars which each group get on the board
- Count stars and reward to the group win
- Read four words: cat, dog, bird, fish (twice) (slide 13)
- Introduce the context of the dialogue by asking some questions:
Who is he/ she?
Where are they? ( point to the picture on the screen) (slide 14)
- Introduce the conversation.
-Turn the button volume on. (slide 14) ( twice)
-Ask ss to repeat.
- Play role: T is Mai - Ss are Quan
T: Nice dog!
Ss: Yes, it is. Have you got a dog?
T: No, I haven’t. I’ve got a cat.
( change the role)
- Ask ss to read in two half (role play).
- Ask Ss to read
- Some pairs read before class.
Ask Ss to replace the name of pet in the dialogue
- Model: (slide 15)
A: Nice bird!
B: Yes, it is. Have you got a bird?
A: No, I haven’t. I’ve got a fish.
- Some pairs practise before class.
-Ask some students:
What do you like pets?/ What do you like the best pet?
-T ask Ss: Do you play a game?
-Play game Draw a picture
T: introduces the rule of game
Model: I like a bird. I draw a bird and say: I’ve got a bird. (turn on the screen) (slide 16)
- Give each student a sheet of paper
- Ask Ss to draw and say: I’ve got
-Some Ss say before class
-Model: draw a bird and a dog; put a check on the picture of dog and say: I’ve got a bird. I haven’t got a dog. (slide 16)
-Lead Ss to read two sentences on the screen (slide 16)
-Ask Ss to count number: one- two, one- two,.. (S1 and S2 draw two different pets and show the picture to say: I’ve gotI haven’t got
(change the role)
- Some pairs practise before class
- Correct (if necessary)
+ Reorder the words :
- Ask ss to make 2 lines (the line on the left make sentence: I’ve got; the line on the right make sentence: I haven’t got
- Model:
+ I’ve / got / a/ rabbit (tortoise/ goldfish/ parrot) .
+ I / haven’t/ got/ a/ rabbit (tortoise/ goldfish/ parrot) .
- Give ss word cards and ask them to arrange the words to make the right sentences.
- Give the slide to feedback.
-Ss read all the sentences on the screen (slide 17)
Do you like to chant?
Turn on the screen (slide 18)
and use the percussion to chant (twice)
Lead Ss to chant (ask Ss to clap their hand)
-T chants the questions; Ss chant the answer (change the role)
-Divide class in two haft (one haft chant the question and one haft chant the answer; then change the role) (slide 19)
-Ask Ss write the lesson (slide 20)
-Ss learn the vocabulary and parttens by heart.
