Procedures: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm – up -Ask students to write some names of diseases they have known. DISEASES 1. headache 2. toothache 3. stomachache 4. flu 5. cough 6. fever 7. backache 8. (bad) cold 9. temperature 10. sore throat - Have students practice saying their healthy state. I have a headache. Presentation - Ask students to look at the picture and answer the questions. 1. Who’s this? 2. Was Lan in class yesterday? (look at the balloon 1) 3. What was wrong with her? (look at the balloon 2) - Ask students to look at the dialogue and listen to the tape. Practice -Ask students to read the dialogue in pairs. - Call on some students to practice the dialogue before the class. - Have students practice the patterns in pairs. 1. What’s wrong with you?
