OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to Ask and answer the questions about what someone would like to be in the future. II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS 1. New words : pilot, architect, writer. 2. Structure: - What would you like to be in the future? + I’d like to be a pilot. III. SKILL 1. Speaking, listening 2. Reading and writing skills. IV. Look, listen and repeat - Ask Ss to look at the picture in the text book and tell about the situation. - Ss listen and repeat the dialogue + 1st , 2nd : listen only + 3rd : listen and repeat( Ss point the appropriate line in their books and repeat) - Model sentences: - What would you like to be in the future? + I’d like to be a pilot. - T explains the sentences. - Ss read and give the examples. - T feedbacks, corrects, remarks 3. Point and say -Recall how to use the model sentences. -Give examples using the pictures in the book. S1: What would you like to be in the future? S2: I’d like to be a pilot - Ask Ss to practice and calls some pairs to act out, others listen and check. T checks finally. 3. Reading and writing skills. IV. TEACHING AIDS 1. Teacher: Power point, text book, chalk, word cards. 2. Pupils: text book, pencil, ruler. V. PROCEDURES Time Activities Interaction Materials 5’ 10’ 8’ 7’ 5` A.WARM UP : Game : “ Guess words” B. NEW LESSON 1. Listen and repeat Let Ps look at the book - Show the sentences: - Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice the stress of the sentences with the falling intonation. Listen again and read in chorus twice. - Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation. - Let Ps find more sentences with falling intonation. 2. Listen and mark the sentence intonation. - Tell the class that they are going to listen and underline the stressed words in each sentence. - Play the recording for Ss to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for Ssto do the task. - Get them to swap and compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class and give keys. 3.
