Look, listen and repeat - Ask Ss to look at the picture in the text book and tell about the situation. - Ss listen and repeat the dialogue + 1st , 2nd : listen only + 3rd : listen and repeat( Ss point the appropriate line in their books and repeat) - Model sentences: - Excuse me, where’s the bus stop ? + It’s next to the stadium. - T explains the sentences. - Ss read and give the examples. - T feedbacks, corrects, remarks 3. Listen and repeat Let Ps look at the book - Show the sentences: - Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice the stress of the sentences with the falling intonation. Listen again and read in chorus twice. - Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation. - Let Ps find more sentences with falling intonation. 2. Listen and mark the sentence intonation. - Tell the class that they are going to listen and underline the stressed words in each sentence. - Play the recording for Ss to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for Ssto do the task. - Get them to swap and compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class and give keys. 3.
