Let Ps look at the book
- Show the sentences:
- Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice the stress of the sentences with the falling intonation. Listen again and read in chorus twice.
- Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation.
- Let Ps find more sentences with falling intonation.
2. Listen and mark the sentence intonation.
- Tell the class that they are going to listen and underline the stressed words in each sentence.
- Play the recording for Ss to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for Ssto do the task.
- Get them to swap and compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class and give keys.
3. Let’s chant
- Calls Ss to describe the picture:
+ Who are they?
- Play the recording for Ss to listen and repeat, clap the syllables.
- Corrects pronunciation error.
- Divides the class into 2 groups: G1 and G2.
