Lesson 1
I. OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: Ask and answer questions about which place someone would like to visit.

2. Structure: - Which place would you like to visit, a museum or a pagoda?
+ I’d like to visit a pagoda.

Let Ps look at the book p 56
- Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice saying questions and answers with the correct sentence stress. Listen again and read in chorus twice. Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation.
2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud
- Tell Ps that they are going to listen to the recording, circle the correct options and say the completed sentences aloud.
- Ps do the task independently.
- Swap their answers in pairs. Go around and offer help if necessary. Check and correct.
- Ask Ps to read the sentences aloud.
T corrects their pronunciation if necessary.
