- Have Ps turn their books to 58
- Tell the class that they are going to read a story about Linda and Peter in 4 pictures and elicit the questions: Who are they? Where are they? What are they talking about?
- Listen for the 1st time: Ps point to the appropriate line in their books
-Listen for the 2nd time and some more if necessary: Ps repeat the lines.
- Let Ps practice the dialogues in chorus.

Let Ps look at the book .
- Show the words and sentences:
- Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice the stress of the words in words and in sentences. Listen again and read in chorus twice. Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation.
- Let Ps find more two and three- syllable words with the stress on the first syllable.
2. Listen and underline the stressed words. Then say the sentence aloud
-Tell sts that they are going to listen and underline the stressed words in each sentence.
-Play the recording for sts to listen
-Ask sts to listen again and do the task
-Ask sts to give answers
-Play the recording again for sts to listen and check
-Give correct answers
