Organization.(1') - Call the roll. 2.Warm up / Review: (3’) - Sing a song. - Leads the students to the new lesson by some guiding questions inVietnamese? 3. PRESENTATION: (12’) 1.Pre- teach –vocabulary: - Hello : chào, xin chào. - Hi : chào, xin chào. - Andy : tên riêng (nam) - Kate : tên riêng ( nữ) * Checking: Slap the board 2. set the scene: + T: Hello/ Hi. I am Mrs Hoa + Ss: Hello/ Hi, Mrs Hoa - T asks every student stands up.( Nga, Nam, Long…) - Whole class: Hello/ Hi, Nga ( Nam, Long…) 3.Present the first part of the dialogue: K Andy: Hello, I am Andy. J Kate : Hi! My name is Kate. - T models. - Practice: T – S / S - T / S 1- S2. - T elecits the structure: * Form: Hello, I am………… Hi! My name is………… * Meaning: Xin chào, tôi tên là:…………… B. PRACTICE: (10’) - T devices class into 2 groups: Group A is Andy. / Group B is Kate. T models / Ss practice the same. Change to practice: Ga is Kate/ Gb is Andy. T models. T corrects. C. PRODUCTION: (8’) * Chain drill: T talks to S1: Hello, I am Ms Dung. S1 talks to S2: Hi! My name is……. S2 talks to S3: Hello, I am………… S3 talks to S4: Hi! My name is…….. * Work book: - T gets ss to do exercises. T calls some ss to come to the board and write their answer. T corrects. - Choral repetition - Individual repetition. - Copy into notebooks. - SS check vocabulary. - Do what T requires. - Ss listen. - SS copy the form into notebook. -SS try to remember the form, meaning and use. - SS work in group. - SS practice. - Ss practice the same. - SS listen . - SS go to the board and write the answer. - SS do exercises. - Do as T asks. 4. Homework.(1’) * SS listen and take note. - Learn by heart vocabulary and structure. - Pratise greeting and introducing youself. - Write your name on your notebook. - Prepare: Unit 1: Let’s talk (2)
