Organization.(1') - Call the roll. 2.Warm up/ Review: ( 3’) * (Play a game). - T devices class in to 4 groups. Each group 4 ss: S1: Hello, My name is……; S2: Hello , My name is…..; S3….and S4….. - Leads the ss to the new lesson by some guiding questions in Vietnamese? 3. New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. PRESENTATION: (12p) 1.Pre- teach –vocabulary: Jenny Tên riêng bạn gái. Lisa Scott John Tên riêng bạn trai. * Checking: substitution drill 3. Modelsentence: - T asks ss to review the structure. - What/s your name? - My name is Kate. 3. set the scene: Listening tape "The hello song" - T: Models : reading "The hello song" - T asks ss to practice. - T: sings sentence by sentence. B. PRACTICE: (10p) a) Review the question and answer pattern. - T get ss to practice in pairs. S1: What/s your name ? S2: What/s your name? S2: My name is …… S1: My name is………… - T corrects and gives some marks. b) Combine the greeting with the question – and answer pattern. - T gets ss practice in pairs. S1: Hello, My name is……. What/s your name? S2: Hi, My name is…. C. PRODUCTION: (8p) * Dialogue buil: - T asks ss to practice : dialogue buil. J Nam Ba K Hello, Myname ………… Hello, My name……….. What/s…………………...? - T corrects. - Choral repetition - Individual repetition. - Copy into notebooks. - SS check vocabulary. - SS review the structure. -SS remember the form, meaning and use. - Ss: listen and repeat. - Practice:( T- Ss; Ss-Ss; S1- S2; S2-S1) - Ss: listen and repeat. - Practice( T- Ss; Ss-Ss; S1- S2; S2-S1) - Listening tape "The hello song” many times. - SS work in pairs. - SS work in pairs. - SS practice. - SS listen. 4. Homework.(1’) * SS listen and take note. - Learn by heart vocabulary and structure. -Pratise singing. - Prepare: Unit 1:Let’s Sing ( 2)
