Lesson 14 : C – c ( 2)

I. Objectives: By the end of the lession ,the ss will be able to drill the letter C and words: six, seven, eight, nine, ten; count the numbers.

- Listening and speaking.

II. Language contents:

 a. Vocabulary: six, seven, eight, nine, ten.

 b. Grammar : - Let’s count! 6 OK!

III. Teaching method: Communicative method.

- Techniques: Ask and answer, work in groups, pairs, individually.

IV. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, flipcharts.

V. Procedures:

1. Organization.(1')

- Call the roll.

2. Warmer - up: ( 3’)

* Find a partner:

- Give each Ss a card for one of the /a/, /e/, /i/, /u/, /o/ vocabulary words.

- Play the “ A-E-I-O-U” song, ask Ss to sing and march around the room.

Stop the music and ask Ss to find a partner. They show their card and ask and answer to find what it is.

New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities * Activity 1: Introduce the new pattern ( 12’) - T displays the pattern T: six - Do again. - Do again and ask for Ss to repeat the words. (2, 3 times) T: Says and write on the board Let’s count!- Ok 6! - Explain: “Let’s count! ?” Used to count numbers. * Activity 2: Practice ( 10’) - Ask: T: Let’s count!- Ok 6! - Divide Ss into 3 groups. Ask for Ss to ask and answer - Ask for Ss to practise in pairs. * Activity 3: Open the book ( 8’) + Number book: - Ask Ss mark the book of numbers. - Give each Ss 5 pieces of paper. - On each page Ss write 1 number 6 -10 then they illustrate that page with the appropriate number of any object of their choosing. - Correct the mistakes. - SS listen. -Listen and repeat. - Repeat the words Ss:six - Look at the board and read. - SS listen. - Answer: Ss : Let’s count! - Ok 6! - Ask and answer in groups. G1: Let’s count! G2: Ok 7! .(Ask G3) Let’s count! G3: Ok 8! .(Ask G1) Let’s count! G1: Ok 9! .(Ask G2) G2: Ok 10! - Practise in pairs. - SS mark the book numbers. 4. Homework.(1’) - SS listen and take note. - Learn by heart vocabulary. - Prepare: Lesson : D – d ( 1)
