T remarks and gives marks. 3. New lesson: (30’) Teacher’s activities Student’s activities * Activity 1:Introduce the letter Q ( 5’) - Point to the teacher card and say: + T: This letter’s name is Q Q, Q, Q * Activity 2: Introduce the sound /q/ ( 5’) - Point to the teacher card and say: + T: Sound of the /q/ q, q, q, - Say and draw the letter q by hand in the air. * Activity 3: Introduce the new words ( 15’) - Point to the picture drawing Quinn introduce: This is: Quinn - Introduce 3 new words: + Take the picture and say: queen, quilt, question - Play the tape. * Activity 4: Introduce the Q chant ( 5’) - Play the tape. - Look and say after the T Ss: Q, Q, Q - Say and do after T. - Look and say after q, q, q, - Say and do after T. - Look at the board and read individual. - Look at the picture and read : Kim + Repeat: queen, quilt, question + Look at the board and read in chorus then individual. - Listen and repeat. - Slap and read. 4.
