Procedures: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm – up. - Have students give the past form of the following verbs. Simple form Past simple Be Was / Were Buy Bought Cut Cut Make Made Decide Decided Fit Fitted Help Helped Use Used Watch Watched - Ask students to give feedback. - Ask students to do the exercise B4 on the page 94. - Get students to read the answers aloud. Pre – reading. - Have students arrange these statements in the correct order. a. Hoa made a skirt. b. She made a cushion. c. She bought material. d. Hoa’s neighbor helped her. e. She tried it on. f. It fitted her very well. g. It was too big. h. She wore the new skirt. i. She learned how to use a sewing machine. - Ask students to give feedback - Elicit vocabulary 1. sew (v) 2. sewing machine (n) 3. cushion (n) While – reading. - Ask students to read the text silently to check the answer. 1c , 2i , 3b , 4a , 5e , 6g , 7d , 8f , 9h. - Have students answer the questions - Ask students to give feedback a.
