A. WARM UP
Play a game “ Network” . T writes some daily activiries on the board: get up, watch TV, listen to music, play the piano, the the guitar, read a book, go to school, play badminton, play table tennis, play volleyball, ride a bike, go jogging.
B. NEW LESSON
1. Look, listen and repeat
- Have Ps turn their books to p12.
- Discuss about the characters and the situations in each picture. Who is this? What’s he doing? What does he do in the morning/ afternoon?
- Listen for the 1st time: Ps point to the appropriate line in their books
-Listen for the 2nd time and some more if necessary: Ps repeat the lines.
- Let Ps practice the dialogues in chorus.

- Show the words and sentences:
- Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice the stress of the words in words and in sentences. Listen again and read in chorus twice.
- Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation.
- Let Ps find more two- syllable words with the stress on the first syllable.
2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud
- Tell Ps that they are going to listen to the recording, circle the correct options and write the words in the blanks.
- Ps do the task independently.
- Swap their answers in pairs. Go around and offer help if necessary. Check and correct.
- Ask Ps to read the sentences aloud.
