Ask and answer questions about someone’s daily routine. 2. Ss will be happy, love their school and English. II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS 1. New words : always, usually, often, sometimes, never 2. Structure: A: What do you do in the afternoon? B: I usually do my homework. III. SKILL 1. Speaking, listening 2. Reading and writing skills. IV. TEACHING AIDS 1. T writes some daily activiries on the board: get up, watch TV, listen to music, play the piano, the the guitar, read a book, go to school, play badminton, play table tennis, play volleyball, ride a bike, go jogging. B. NEW LESSON 1. Look, listen and repeat - Have Ps turn their books to p12. - Discuss about the characters and the situations in each picture. Who is this? What’s he doing? What does he do in the morning/ afternoon? - Listen for the 1st time: Ps point to the appropriate line in their books -Listen for the 2nd time and some more if necessary: Ps repeat the lines. - Let Ps practice the dialogues in chorus. ]Model sentences: A: What do you do in the afternoon? B: I usuallydo my homework. - Concept check: form, meaning, use.. + Meaning: Bạn làm gì vào buổi chiều? Mình thường làm bài vềnhà. + Usage: asking and answering about someone’s daily routine. +Form: Do I say “ What are/ What do you do”. 2. Point and say - Have Ps look at page 12. Then identify the 4 activities. T monitors and helps. - Invite some pairs to speak to check their performance. 3.Let’s talk - Tell Ps that they are going to practice more with their friends asking and answering about daily routines. T- Ps model first. Then let them work in pairs or in groups of four. Call some pairs to act in front of the class. C. NEW LESSON 1. Listen and repeat Let Ps look at the book p 16 - Show the words and sentences: - Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice the stress of the words in words and in sentences. Listen again and read in chorus twice. - Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation. - Let Ps find more two- syllable words with the stress on the first syllable. 2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud - Tell Ps that they are going to listen to the recording, circle the correct options and write the words in the blanks. - Ps do the task independently. - Swap their answers in pairs. Go around and offer help if necessary. Check and correct. - Ask Ps to read the sentences aloud.
