Pre – Writing: (10’) - Ask students to work in pairs to answer the questions in exercise 2 on page 76. - Ask students to give feedback. a. I live in a small town / big city / village / … b. My looks like very nice / small with 4 or 5 rooms and a nice garden. c. From my bedroom window, I can see a small park with many green trees and colorful flowers. d. It’s far from my home, so I have to ride my bike / it’s very near so I can walk. e. There is a park / a post office / a library / some restaurants / some hotels / a lot of internet clubs / …… f. I like the park best because I can walk with my sisters after dinners or every morning / I like the library best because I can read many interesting books, or study there / I like the internet clubs best because I can learn how to use the computer there / 3. I live in Dalat city, a city of Lam Dong province. My family has a large house with six rooms and a small garden behind the house. My sister and I share one bedroom. From the bedroom window, I can see a beautiful view of a park with a lot of green trees and lots of children playing there. We live far from my school, so I ride bike there. In my neighborhood, there is a stadium. Every after school in the afternoon, I usually play badminton with my friends. Early in the morning, I always jog with my sister around the park in front of my house. But the thing I like best in my neighborhood is the public library in the city center. There I can read many interesting books, and study there. Do you have a library or a better one than the one in my town? Is there anything interesting in your neighborhood? Please write to me.
