I. Objectives: By the end of the lession ,the ss will be able to drill words: balloon, bicycle, top, net and asking about objects ( singular).
- Listening and speaking.
II. Language contents:
a. Vocabulary: balloon, bicycle, top, net.
b. Grammar : - What is it?
->It’s a balloon.
III. Teaching method: Communicative method.
- Techniques: Ask and answer, work in groups, pairs, individually.
IV. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, sub board.
V. Procedures:
1. Organization.(1')
- Call the roll.
2. Warmer - up: ( 3’)
* Sorting game:
- Use some cards and make 5 “pockets” out of heavy paper.
- Label the pockets /a/, /e/, /o/, /u/ and /i/. Have a Ss deliver a card to the

Lesson 10 : U – u ( 2)
I. Objectives: By the end of the lession ,the ss will be able to drill words: balloon, bicycle, top, net and asking about objects ( singular).
- Listening and speaking.
II. Language contents:
a. Vocabulary: balloon, bicycle, top, net.
b. Grammar : - What is it?
->It’s a balloon.
III. Teaching method: Communicative method.
- Techniques: Ask and answer, work in groups, pairs, individually.
IV. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, sub board.
V. Procedures:
1. Organization.(1')
- Call the roll.
2. Warmer - up: ( 3’)
* Sorting game:
Use some cards and make 5 “pockets” out of heavy paper.
Label the pockets /a/, /e/, /o/, /u/ and /i/. Have a Ss deliver a card to the pocket labeled with the same initial sound.
Repeat with different Ss until all the cards have been delivered.

- Use the puppet to display the pattern
T: What is it ?
Puppet: It’s a balloon.
- Do again.
- Do again and ask for Ss to repeat the words of puppet. (2, 3 times)

T: Say and write on the board
What is it?
It’s a bicycle
- Explain: “What is it?” Used to ask things.
* Activity 2: Practice ( 10’)
- Ask:
T: What is it?
- Divide Ss into 3 groups. Ask for Ss to ask and answer
- Ask for Ss to practise in pairs.
* Activity 3: Open the book ( 8’)
- Ask for Ss to open the book. Look and remark the picture.
- Introduce the characters: pattern,
- Play the tape.
- Correct the mistakes.
- SS listen.
-Listen and repeat.
- Repeat the words of the puppet.
Ss: It’s a book.
- Look at the board and read.
Note:( It’s:viÕt t¾t cña It is )
- Answer:
Ss : It’s a balloon.
It’s a bicycle
- Ask and answer in group.
G1: What is it?
G2: It’s a top.(Ask G3)
What is it ?
G3: It’s a net.(Ask G1)
What is it?
G1: It’s a balloon.
- Practise in pairs.
- Open the book, look at the picture and remark.
- Listen and repeat
- Read in pair.

- SS listen.
4. Homework.(1’)
- SS listen and take note.
- Learn by heart vocabulary.
- Prepare: Lesson 11 : B – b ( 1)
