I. Objectives: By the end of the lession, the ss will be able to drill the letter B and words:Beth, boy, bird, bag.
- Listening and speaking.
II. Language contents:
a. Vocabulary: Beth, boy, bird, bag.
III. Teaching method: Communicative method.
- Techniques: Ask and answer, Work in groups, pairs, individually.
IV. Teaching aids: Text book, pictures, study cards, sub board.
V. Procedures:
1. Organization.(1')
- Call the roll.
2. Warmer - up: ( 3’)
* Find a partner:
- Give each Ss a card for one of the /a/, /e/, /i/, /u/, /o/ vocabulary words.
- Play the “ A-E-I-O-U” song, ask Ss to sing and march around the room.
- Stop the music and ask Ss to find a partner. They show their card and ask and answer to find what it is.

I. Objectives: By the end of the lession, the ss will be able to drill the letter B and words:Beth, boy, bird, bag.

2. Warmer - up: ( 3’)
* Find a partner:
Give each Ss a card for one of the /a/, /e/, /i/, /u/, /o/ vocabulary words.
Play the “ A-E-I-O-U” song, ask Ss to sing and march around the room.

- Pont to the teacher card and say:
+ T: This letter’s name is B
B, B, B
- Say and draw the letter B by hand in the air.
- Correct the mistakes.
* Activity 2: Introduce the sound /u/ ( 5’)
- Pont to the teacher card and say:
+ T: Sound of the B is /b/:
b, b, b
- Say and draw the letter B by hand in the air.
- Correct the mistakes.
* Activity 3: Introduce the new words
( 15’)
- Point to the picture drawing Uncle Jim and introduce: This is Beth, Beth.
- Introduce 3 new words:
+ Take the picture and say:
boy, bird, bag.
+ T: Yes, boy, bird, bag.
says and writes on the board.
+ Correct the mistakes.
- Do the same with the other words.
- Play the tape.
* Activity 4: Introduce the O chant ( 5’)
- Play the tape.
- Look and say after the T
Ss: B, B, B
- Say and do after T
- Look at the board and read individual.

- Look and say after the T: b, b, b
- Say and do after T.
- Look at the board and read individual.

- Look at the picture and read after T
: Beth, Beth.
