Were you ever absent from school last semester? 2. Were you sick? 3. Did you have a cold? 4. What was wrong with you? Pre – reading. - Ask students to do multiple choice prediction. 1. There is only one disease called common. (headache / toothache / stomachache / cold) 2. Its symptoms are (a runny nose / a slight fever / coughing and sneezing / all of them) 3. a. Everybody knows a cure. b. Some people know a cure. c. A few people know a cure. d. Nobody knows a cure. 4.
