Warm – up.
- Have SS write 10 most popular sports in America.
- Ask questions
1. What sports do you like to play?
2. Is badminton your favorite sport?
3. What is your favorite sport?
Presentation.
- Have SS look at the pictures and say the name of the sports.
- Ask questions
+ What’s he?
+ Is he good at soccer?
+ Is he a good soccer player?
+ How does he play soccer?
- Play the tape for SS.
- Use substitution drill and let SS work on other pictures
- Have them practice in pairs.
- Ask SS to underline the adjectives and adverbs in these sentences.
Practice.
- Elicit the grammar.

- Give examples
- He’s a good soccer player.

- Tell the SS the difference between adjectives and adverb, and how they are used in the sentence.
