Use the words and phrases related to the topic Activities. 2.Ask and answer questions about what someone can/ cannot do. II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS 1. New words : can, ride, cook, skate, skip, sing, swim 2. Structure: - What can you do? I can______ III. SKILL 1. Speaking, listening 2. Reading and writing skills. IV. TEACHING AIDS 1. WARM UP - Ask Ps sing the chant “ When’s your birthday?”. B. NEW LESSON 1.New words - Ss describe the pictures - T gives remark and introduces the picture to give new words can, ride, cook, skate, skip, sing, swim - Ss read new words. - T gives remarks and correct mistakes. -Games: Hit the board: - T explains the rule of the games. - Ss play games. - T checks and congratulates the winner 2. PROCEDURES Time Activities Interaction Materials 5’ 10’ 8’ 7’ 5’ A.WARM UP - T asks Ss to sing “If you are happy” song - Ss play game: “ Throw a ball” - T and Ss greet each other and takes attendance B. NEW LESSON 1. Listen and repeat - Ask Ss to look at the sounds,words and sentences in the text book. - Ss listen and repeat the words and sentences - Call some students to read aloud sounds, words and sentences exactly - T feedbacks, corrects, remarks 2. Listen and number - Have Ss do a dictation - Give ss a few seconds to read the text individual - Listen and choose - Call one ss go to board and write the answer - Let Ss practice in pairs.
