2. Structure: A:How many lessons do you have today?
B: I have four: Maths, Vietnamese, Music and PE.

Let Ps look at the book p 44.
- Play the recorder. Ps listen and practice saying questions and answers with the correct sentence stress. Listen again and read in chorus twice. Get some Ps to perform in front of the class. Check and correct their pronunciation.
- Note: The words are stressed in sentences are nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Sometimes this, that, these and those are stressed up to speaker’s intention.
- Let Ps find the words which are stressed
- How often do you have English?
- I have it four times a week.
-Where will you be next weekend?
- I think I will be in the mountains.
2. Listen and circle a or b. Then say the sentences aloud:
- Tell Ps that they are going to listen to the recording, circle the correct options and write the words in the blanks.
- Ps do the task independently.
- Swap their answers in pairs. Go around and offer help if necessary. Check and correct.
- Ask Ps to read the sentences aloud.
T corrects their pronunciation if necessary.
3.Let’s chant
How often do you have?
- Have Ps read the chant and check comprehension.
- Play the recording a few times for Ps to do choral and individual repetition. Show them how to chant and do actions.
- Divide the class into 4 groups.
- Call some pairs to the front of the class to chant and actions. The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm.
